This is not fair. He's the cause of this woman losing her life and the other people being severely injured. He gets to pay everyone off and go on about his business. If that were us, we'd be charged with causing the accident and maybe serve time.

Just shows you that money can get you out of ANY situation in this country...I have never ever heard of someone not being at fault in a rear end accident. A normal person would be facing manslaughter charges whether it was an accident or not. Negligence behind the wheel does not protect you from bodily harm or property damages. This is terrible man. So sick and tired of the social elite being held to different standards and laws than us pawns

In Virginia, if you rear end a car - you are found guilty and charged. I feel so sorry for Ms. Howe - and her family. My condolences to them.
