My favorite version of this song. It's so tender.

Some of my favorite versions of songs are KEXP recordings. The Gardner and Where do my Bluebird Fly by The Tallest Man on Earth, this version of San Bernadino, and all the acoustic set videos of Florence and the Machine. I really don't like the overuse of background vocals in the album versions of F+tM; so when I found those videos of just a harp, guitar and vocals I was ecstatic. Even the live MTV unplugged album uses way too many backup vocals.

The Cemetery Gates recordings of The Mountain Goats is also one of my favorites (Deuteronomy 2:10 is my favorite from the group). The Bottom of the Hill 2008 concert is amazing as well, love that whole thing.
