its a 1st and minten...for carlo whos signed over 6 years at only 4.2 mill cap hit...thats to boston...but its actually a 3 team trade with pens retaining cap off that for up to 6years ..for dewar and timmons...so over next 6 years maybe only 2.1 mill avv im guessing..i still need to find out details but pens are retaining salary on the deal

As a Bruins long time fan there is no finer goal scored than a Brandon Carlo goal!

Big Physical D-Man ....LOL!!! Guess these guys haven't watched the Bruins play in last 5 years....Carlo is good solid D first Defenseman, Physicality is not his game despite his size. Long stick...good positioning....limited offense, very good 2nd pairing player....good trade for both teams...Leafs get Carlo at around 3.5 mil per and Bruins get 1st round pick and Minten, who should hopefully translate into Top 6/9 player down the road.

seems like a high price to pay ( one of their top prospects and a 1st ) for a stay at home D ? Leafs need more offense from the back end and Carlo will not provide that .Although he is a huge guy and maybe if you pair him with Reilly, if may get Reilly to take more chances and join the rush .A high price to pay but if they win a few rounds its worth it I guess
