The Ryobi 15" surface cleaner is one of the more popular ones on the market. I've been using it for two years and I'm going to share my honest, unbiased opinion.

In this video we are going to cover: Unboxing, how to use it, how to clear clogging, how to lubricate the bearings, and more.

This was a good video and covered all the things that need to be inspected and lubricated. Greasing it is the most important thing that causes them to stop spinning.

Thank you…. I have a Yamaha, very similar and it quit. I followed your directions, greased the bearing and I am back in action. Thumbs up to your channel and advice!

I had a lot of trouble getting that little brass filter out. It looks like the screw broke off and I basically had no way of unscrewing the rest of the filter. Looks like I’ll need a new inlet plug and filter replacement. Thank you for the video. The rest went great.

A hidden gem of a channel! Loved this thorough review. Your knowledge is very valuable to the community, so keep making these videos. A lot of young kids today, make reviews and know nothing! I love your garage organization!!! Subscribed.

Thank you for not selling out and becoming a corporate infomercial instead of an honest review. This matters to us.
Thank you also for not putting any obnoxious music overlay and keeping it simple and natural. This is professional.

I would suggest you get a shirt microphone for good audio. Also make sure your indoor lighting is clear for good visuals. These small changes will make your videos more attractive and not look dated and old fashioned. Look at Humble Road van build videos. The guy, George Mauro was a photographer in his previous career. His superb audio and visual quality come down to simple things - a good microphone attached to your shirt, not on camera, and soft lighting indoors that highlight his project. Mic is costly, but lights are cheap.

I just used this to clean the aggregate around my pool that hasn’t been cleaned in 20 years! It looks new! I couldn’t be more impressed with the ryobi cleaner. I used it with a 3000 psi 2.4 gal Honda washer.

Thanks for the very informational video. I've beem looking everywhere, and your the only one to address the bearing sitiation. I came across a good deal on one of these, but needed to verify it wasnt a sealed bearing. Appreciate it sir.

This was a PROPER review. I'm glad you showed how to service it. I was skeptical as I didnt see a zerk fitting to grease it. Maybe next show a turbo nozzle? Lol. But thank you for the review! I bought the Walmart brand to go with my 3200 Ryobi gas PW, and that Cleaner broke in the first use, the plastic failed. So tomorrow I will try this one out. Just bought it!

Thank you Mike! You covered everything I needed to know!!
I just returned a Simpson 15" metal surface cleaner but my pressure washer didnt have enough psi & gpm to spin the wand fast enough. I have a Simpson 2700 gas pressure washer, but that 2700 psi is with a jet nozzle. I was looking for a straight forward review of this Ryobi and i found yours. I have subscribed to your channel and liked the vid!! Thanks again!!

I have a Simpson 15” rotary attachment. I got about an hour of use out of it before it was leaving swirls. Switched back to the wand and 25 degree tip. Will try your maintenance fixes and see if it works again. Of course I lost the cleaning wire.

Think I solved my question on wheels versus no wheels. If surface perfectly flat wheels may be faster, but if you have cracks, wheels will get caught up reducing speed and possibly damaging wheels.

want to save your back when using that surface cleaner get a wand extension I have a 36 inch extension between my wand and the surface cleaner. This allows me to stand up straight while using it especially helpful when doing a long job. Hope you try it makes all the difference in using this without back pain.

My 12" Ryobi Surface Cleaner worked well during my first use, but on the next use it stopped spinning. I could raise it uo about a foot and it would start spinning again. Now it will spin for a few seconds and stop. I spend musing it.ore time getting it spinning again than using it.
