God I can’t wait for the OSA, abusing CAS with IRST and a this stable missile will be fun (the Roland has utterly disappointed me by over correcting so much, it missed an MQ1)

6:05 I _really_ wish Gaijin would put in a general option to move the camera back from vehicles. There are so many chonkers hogging all the screen real estate that it's often a genuine issue to find enemy vehicles.

So either this needs to be 10.7 or the rolands need to go to 10.0 because I don't see these as anywhere near equal

the thing about how they coded the Roland missiles, it's like the missile corrects to full value until it crosses the aiming point. then it switches to the other direction at full value.
meanwhile the Oda missiles have a parameter that "the closer to the aim point, the less value applied to steering". i guess only the ruzzians unlocked this tech

I think Gaijin did a good job with the Osa.
It might not do a big impact in the soviet tree (apart from people wanting to test it) given then have the AAs from hell, but for Germany and Italy, it'll be of good help.

It definitely IS funny how the Russian missile tracks better. It's even funnier considering the SACLOS nerfs that ruined many top tier SAMs came out in the same update as the Pantsir, which clearly has no guidance problems

This thing looks so cool with the huge missile, are there bigger ones in game? Maybe 1 day we’ll see the Krug with the real chonkers

Interrestingly, this isnt the osa-akm but the osa-ak. The missiles have wrong stats, instead of 5oom/s smth it should be around 100 and the range should be 15km Instead of 10.

4:55 The United States had 2x more planes than the Soviet Union. Better in terms of quality and quantity Airplanes.

In contrast the Soviets had 10 x more AA batteries. 100x spaa batteries.

When you fire the OSA at ground targets aim a bit down because the missile flies above your crosshair.
