Python to Delta PLC via RS485 | Modbus Communication & Data Transfer

This program is developed using Python and WPLSoft to enable communication with the Delta DVP28SV PLC. It allows data transmission and writing in the PLC (X, Y, M, D, C, T) using RS485 with Modbus addresses.

With this setup, my goal is to integrate image processing on a PC and send the processed data to the PLC for industrial automation applications.

So there is a meter(sensor) physically connected to PLC through RS485, right? So at PLC your using RS485 to USB converter and getting the data in python, right ?

Hello, I`m trying to do the same with a DVP-12SA but it works for a while and then stop working (comm fails). Could you tell me what config do you use? (stop bit, parity, datel ength). Thank you!

Are you using serial communication in python, for seimmens plc is it possible to make serial communjcation using rs485?
