Even with the translation, English speakers will never know that when he says "it stopped....my heart" and then "it stopped again....my breath" there is a pun. In Spanish, "se me paro" also means to have an erection (it stood up). Therefore, he is saying: When I saw you....it stopped/stood up (I had an erection), which later when adding "my heart" is modified into something romantic. Same when he says: "When I saw you, it stopped/stood up again (I had another erection)....my breath. Even people from Spain don't understand this until you explain it because using "se me paro" to talk about an erection is a Latin American expression.
