My list

5. Bowser

About the only times I’ve used Bowser without the need for elemental weaknesses are when I use his Defense Up passive and I feel like I can count said uses with just my fingers.

4. Mallow

Mallow has some pretty solid AoE moves but his healing is outclassed. Not much more to say.

3. Mario

This is one where I tend to use the normal attacks way more than the special attacks the latter of which are still pretty useful but Lazy Shell is broken.

2. Geno

Very solid all around. The attack boost is solid and so are his AoE moves. He can do great damage and his passives make him a mainstay.

1. Peach

This just shows how broken Lazy Shell is. The armor does lower attack but it makes the wearer almost impossible to kill, so you can just heal and revive with Peach over and over. It’s insane.

Even if Bowser isn’t that good, I always have him in my party anyways just because he’s Bowser.

"Yes, Geno has other good stuff, like his HP and his Defense." Funny you say that considering the most common criticism with Geno is that he's the closest thing this game has to a glass cannon.

While it would be an overlap with Mario, 's fire moves... I'm wondering where the heck is Bowser's fire breath as a magic attack?

I used to mainly use Mario bowser and mallow until I realized that using Mario geno and peach as a team with red shell basically makes you invincible and the rest of the game a cakewalk😂
