This whole package is so amazing, when you can FEEL emotion in a song thats how you know you've really made something special. You can FEEL Gaster's anger, you can FEEL Papyrus’s sadness, you can FEEL that badass when Megalovania starts up. Perfect, just perfect.

This. This is what I would call Magnum Opus. This is not just music, it is art. This 25 minutes of music is telling the tragic story of a family that lost everything in merely a few seconds. Though they stood together, a great sacrifice of the son was made to protect his father and brother. But, they will always be a family. And the murderer will pay. The father's limits were destroyed, he felt no feeling but rage and hatred and, as a great scientist, he professionally approached the murderer and showed her what FEAR truly means, he showed her that this was his last failure, and she - the destroyer of the world, the murderer - won't succeed, their family will never give up. And so he Ascended becoming a being which such power that none could ever imagine and slaughtered Bête Noir once and for all.

I think my favorite aspect of Ascension is how well it pairs with Gaster's scream of pure rage in the end of Animosity. You hear the low pounding beats, the angelic choir forming into a slow build, and then the violent scream of a man who's about to kill, as the techno chimes kick in when he activates Polychromatism. Everything that follows? It's chef kiss worthy, seriously.

This album really emulates just what W.D. Gaster is feeling in this short time.

A sense of calm and hope that when the fighting is all over he can have his family again.

The determination and resolve to end this creature that has taken the lives and destroyed the happiness of so many others.

The anguish at the thought of losing his beloved son, and knowing that he can never get him back.

The Absolute SHATTERING of his sanity, ending every last thought of himself and others, replacing them with a single goal.

The demonstration of power as he ruthlessly slaughters his child's murderer without any hesitation.

The exhaustion of knowing that his task is complete and having his body and mind drained of everything they had left to give.

This is a true Magnum Opus for Amella.

Words cannot express how much respect I have and how much admiration that I have for Amella has as a song writer.

Good luck, Amella.
