His pay throughout his life so far ranged from $70, 000-$90, 000 without a college degree! I love skill/labor jobs that pay well, there are options out there!

4:15 "...1, 500 hours of overtime a year", on top of the nearly 1, 900+ hours regular employees work, in the US (5days a week 8 hour a days) suddenly that 70, 000 a year seems far less impressive. Though glad he seems to enjoy it.

Definitely underpaid for what they do and the traveling. Their employer is making a fortune from their skills and bravery.

This is such an interesting and unique job. Big ups to showing different types of career paths beyond the usual suspects.

well, i couldnt do it personally, but i give him props for being soo determined .. Most people working 68 hrs a week burn out fast, but not him.. I do think he needs to be making 100k, it sounds brutal.

Saw these guys working this ride last time I was out at Knott's. Was definitely in awe watching these guys bring life back to this ride that has been long overdue for a new paint job! Keep up the great work you guys!

Big shoutout for not profiling another YouTuber! I love seeing someone whose story is materially different than the others who’ve come before.

This still does not pay enough for how high and dangerous this job can be. It’s clear the only reason his income is so high is from overtime. Besides that, it pays about the same as any other job.

Oh wow! That's way more (and farther) travel than I was expecting! Was not expecting Canada and France

A few years back I won a competition from Baynum painting. They're really friendly and have a great history. It's good to see them doing well!

I wish he talked more about why he left the wastewater treatment center. My dad used to be a treatment plant operator, left to start an aquarium business, business went under, and then went back to wastewater treatment now as a mechanic. He said he wishes he never left. The pension and benefits would've been a lot better. I work for the department of water and power and am complacent about it. I generally like what I do, at least compared to any other realistic job. I get paid really well for the little amount of work that I do but I definitely want to retire early and explore other intersests

So many jobs out there that nobody even knows exists. Cool for you to highlight such a niche field. I'm from Toronto so I'm guessing he came to Canada's Wonderland since that's owned by Cedar Fair.

Had no idea that roller coasters needed regular painting or that this career existed
