NATO weapons + the bad-ass Ukrainian soldiers = victory.

What do you call a Russian tank battalion returning to Russia? An infantry squad.

In February of las year most experts expected Ukraine to surrender within a week. Now over one years into the war Ukraine is standing tall and proud and Russia is on the back foot. What an inspiring performance by the Ukrainians!

The look Zelensky gave Sunak's platitudinal waffling says it all... pretty much the difference of a career politician who's never been tested against anything, and a non-politician who's seen the worst of humanity being inflicted on his home country on display right there. It's good that the UK and Europe pledge their support, it's the right thing to do both strategically and ethically, and yet (for now at least) none of those other heads of state will ever grasp what a monumental service this man has given his country and the world, in standing defiant against Putin's warcrimes.

Zelenskyy was awarded the Charlemagne prize in a touching ceremony were European leaders lauded hin as the most significant leader of the century. It was accompanied beautiful Ukrainian literature and music. It reminds us why we love Europe and how a united Europe can become a superpower and a force for good.

The Ukrainians have retaken more territory in the last week, around Bakhmut than the Russians have taken in 6 months. They have blown up several ammunition depots and killed several high level officers in the occupied territory of Luhansk.

Ukrainians will not give up because their fight is just. All for one and one for all. We stand by Ukraine 🇦🇺

I am glad Britain has sent storm shadow missiles, we had to respond to Russian nuclear threats somehow, and it was not going to be by hiding under the bed.

1938: after PM, Neville Chamberlain, signed Munich agreement with Hitler, Winston Churchill said to him and to parliament: “You were given the choice between war and dishonour. You chose dishonour, and you will have war.' - He was right.

In 1941 Prime Minister Winston Churchill made the following plea to the United States:
“We shall not fail or falter; we shall not weaken or tire. Neither the sudden shock of battle, nor the long-drawn trials of vigilance and exertion will wear us down. Give us the tools, and we will finish the job.”
Now it is our turn to help Ukraine.

The sheer amount of approving and cheering comments by ordinary Russians under videos about the atrocities committed against civilians and prisoners of war in Ukraine were no less shocking to Ukrainians than the war itself.
We somehow got used to the war, but the realization of who we have been living next to all this time without even knowing it is still terrifying.
Those barbarians called themselves our brothers.
Imagine what they would do to you, who they call their enemies, if you let them.
Not supplying weapons to Ukraine under the pretext of achieving an early peace is like allowing a violator to violate his victim in order to end the violence as soon as possible.
