Elizabeth, thank you for the content you provide. I have a question in diagramming compound sentences. The curriculum we are using connects the simple sentences at the verb, not at the beginning of the sentence as you do in your examples. Do you have any thoughts on why it would be done one way or another? I understand it either way, I'm just curious. Thank you.
