Roubini on Treasury Issuance, Markets and Economy

Nouriel Roubini, Atlas American Fund portfolio manager and Roubini Macro Associates CEO, discusses his accusation that the US Treasury manipulated the issuance of Treasury securities in a way that lowers real borrowing costs across the economy. Speaking on Bloomberg Television, Roubini also comments on markets and the outlook for the US economy.

It’s like a drug addict borrowing money for more drugs. Borrowing is good for good projects, but we are not doing that.
Why issue bonds and bills at all?
Demand for USA Bonds should always be the same to slightly growing (that’s true price stability).
We don’t build enough Houses and we issue too many bonds/bills.😂 Do you get the joke?
