Turtle Bay revolves around one of band member Ben Plotnick’s favourite places in his neighbourhood in Nashville. “A somewhat ridiculous floating sports bar on the cumberland river,” he says, “despite being a bit outside my normal type of haunt, I do love visiting that part of the river (called ‘Turtle Bay’), and I feel like this tune sounds a bit like the river flowing by. I was listening to a lot of Swedish-influenced music at the time, and even though I’m sadly quite inexperienced in playing those types of tunes, I think it came through a little in this particular melody.”

This had me in tears at Wintergrass. The way you feed off of each other while being perfectly sync'd on all of your unexpected twists and turns and time signature changes, all while maintaining beautiful melodies and harmonies is insane and something I've never quite experienced before. I'm your newest and biggest fan.
