Why the fuck did they do that ?
If the car can run with low emission and wasn't this not the standard ???

This is brutal. I bought a 2015 Golf TDI because I believed it was a good choice towards being as environmentally friendly as possible and because I thought they made good cars. Now, I'm stuck with a car that will be looked as a hazard! I want my fuckn' money back.

whoa, and by lying they've made their situation so much worse. I'm gonna pick a number here but say to fix a technical problem would've cost a billion euros which apparently they were unwilling to pay (or if they didn't have the funds to fix it couldn't they have taken out a loan?). And now they possibly face 18 billion in fines/fees plus the possibility of prosecution plus who knows how many lawsuits. just so dumb it's mind boggling. I owned two old VWs years ago, loved those cars and I'm sorry some of the company's leaders made such poor choices that may lead to the company's end. unfortunate. and very bad news for the workers.
