Republicans win control of the House

Republicans won control of the U.S. House on Wednesday, returning the party to power in Washington and giving conservatives leverage to blunt President Joe Biden’s agenda and spur a flurry of investigations. But a threadbare majority will pose immediate challenges for GOP leaders and complicate the party’s ability to govern.

More than a week after Election Day, Republicans secured the 218th seat needed to flip the House from Democratic control. The full scope of the party’s majority may not be clear for several more days — or weeks — as votes in competitive races are still being counted.

But they are on track to cobble together what could be the party's narrowest majority of the 21st century, rivaling 2001, when Republicans had just a nine-seat majority, 221-212 with two independents. That’s far short of the sweeping victory the GOP predicted going into this year’s midterm elections, when the party hoped to reset the agenda on Capitol Hill by capitalizing on economic challenges and Biden’s lagging popularity.

Meanwhile, the only people profiting are the ones who own the team.
The players end up with CTE and can't even talk to their grandkids and make sense.
The owners have huge accounts in offshore banks and live Elite lives, the players spend their money on doctors.
That's us, broke, sick, and doomed, while the politicians skim all the profits for their own use.
Sending Trillions of dollars to a pawn shop masquerading as a country, that the People will have to pay for.
Everything we have, everything we've worked for, has less and less value, while the politicians get richer and richer.
They've flipped the script. Now, we work for them, not for our children or families.
You'll have less and less to help your kids with, and they gain more and more power to take advantage of you. They will own your children outright, because your kids will work as slaves to pay back the money Washington has stolen.
And all you can do is scroll through Facebook and TikTok, because there aren't jobs for everyone, and today's education prepares you for nothing useful.
They've stolen everything from you, and you work at McDonald's for a slave wage.
Keep you busy trying to achieve an American Dream that no longer exists.
If you slow down, they call you lazy and blame you for your situation.

These mid terms were laughable in many areas. Some states seem to have their act together tabulating and reporting vote counts. Other states seem to have chosen who they want in office, and delay and count until they feel confident "their" chosen candidate won. Even more troubling is the election of Fetterman. Oz wasn't a great candidate but if given the choice to board an airplane piloted by Oz or Fetterman I would clearly choose Oz
