I don't always listen to the songs that Youtube notifies me you posted, but I should.
This sends chills down my spine. It's one of those songs that makes you want to be outside during the night time. I imagine sitting on a paddle board, slowly cutting the waves with the paddle. Just the slightest movement when you push off the water so that your board stays steady. You reach out your hand and touch the warm, gentle waves that flow between your fingers. They consume your hand in an embrace with such warmth and love, happiness and care. Then emotion clouds over you. The sub-reality of the past comes racing through your mind like a promise you once broke and couldn't stop feeling guilty over. Tears nearly the temperature of the water well up in your eyes. And, when you begin to cry, your sobs are silent. It's as if your skin was a soundproof barrier that kept all the aching beats of your heart from surfacing. Vibration rings through your throat that screams and pleads to come out. But still, all anyone can hear is the soft, still waves. The lack of wind that kept them from crashing over the shore, so the water just streamed in between the rocks like everything was peaceful.
