Volociraptor 3 experimental annular wing airplane (maiden flight - almost crash)

Maiden flight of Volociraptor 3
Experimental model with 2 independent tilting rings.
Not bad even if there was too much excursion of the controls and the center of gravity too backward.
Next time will be better :-)

Modello sperimentale con 2 anelli tiltanti indipendenti.
Non male anche se c'era troppa escursione dei comandi e il baricentro troppo arretrato.
La prossima volta andrà meglio :-)

I am happy because:

1) It is more stable than the first 2 (which kept rolling)
2) It is very sturdy (not the coating), the fans are detached but not the front rings (which are lighter but MUCH more cantilevered)
3) It has a lot of lift.
