Happy first day of spring!

It has been 44 years since this wonderful concept LP was issued in 1976. The comparisons of the ebb and flow of love to the seasons of the year is one that is often referred to poems and stories. Here the electronic stylings of Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte bathe Summer in expansive electronic chords that seem to pulse when the song opens, heralding the blissful arrival of spring and the romance of a relationship.

I hope you will enjoy this and the three other remixed tracks from "Four Seasons Of Love", each to be uploaded on the first day of the next four seasons. Today is the first day of spring, the next is first day of summer then fall and closing with the first day of winter.

Disco music was a new album cuts, the strings, the thumping beat- was all new at the time. The excitement generated cannot be explained unless you lived it. I was young, but remember the whole world was dancing! My parents were dancing! We all loved Donna! A brief but exceptional time in history that will never be duplicated.

Donna was Donna unique and yes one of the truly queens of disco, the top along with gloria gaynor..i dance as a teen at many clubs in 1976, 1977 with her sultry voice and Giorgio Moroder arrangements.peace out

Thank you, thank you, thank you for honoring the Queen of the Discos. Growing up in the 70's "Love To Love You Baby" was of course our first exposure to Giorgio and what he was trying to do. A year later this album came out and we were like, "Ok, this is going to be great." We had no idea what was on the horizon....one more year later and we all lost it in 1977 with "I Feel Love". I was a DJ from 77-99. Played her tracks every chance I could weave them in and out of a set to make the crowd go nuts.

Donna Summer, was one of my Moms favorite, bc they had the sane first name. After she past I've been going through her hits, came across this on my Spotify. I really dig this one. Love her songs an grew up on them. My Mom had great taste in music. Rip to both of them❤
