Maharashtra on Tuesday reported eight more cases of Omicron coronavirus variant with seven being reported from Mumbai and one from Vasai Virar. With this the state's total Omicron tally now stands at 28.

India's total Omicron tally has now surged to 61.

Who is verifying the Covid protocols implementation. Yesterday i came back to Bangalore after a 4 days business trip to mumbai. As per the new covid rules, all the passengers coming from Maharashtra should bring RT PCR test (less than 72hrs). No one asked me about this report at the time of boarding in Mumbai. Once i reached Bangalore one official asked me to show RT PCR report. I have opened my mobile and opened a report. The person said Ok sir, you can go. Later i realized that it was the test report from April 2021, (while Iam coming from Kerala). I felt I have unnecessarily wasted 800 rs for testing. So this is our implementation. Several people not wearing masks at both Mumbai and Bangalore airports. Rather than showing faltu news, go to airports or crowded areas and show what is the implementation.
