How great is the danger of a Russian attack for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia? | DW News

There is great concern in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania that Russia will attack them as well. And so serious preparations are being made for their defense.
We talk to Jānis Sārts, head of NATO's Strategic Communications Center of Excellence, about developments in the Baltic states.

Don‘t get hysterical. Russia demonstrated incompetence and weakness on an unbelievable level. They will have a hard time finding the Baltic states, let alone get any soldiers there. It would also mean, that they would lose Kaliningrad immediately as well as any ships they have in the Baltic sea. As well as large parts of their pitiful marine forces in the Northern Sea, Atlantic, and Mediterranean Sea. Putin even trying something this crazy will probably lead to his immediate assassination. With all of NATO‘s weaknesses, it is still many times stronger than Russia.

I am from Lithuania and I hate these videos, currently there is very little risk of this because Russia is struggling with the Ukraine itself and videos as such from the DW just only make the tourists and the investors afraid to visit our countries. Meanwhile when you are here there is no sense of the war what so ever.
