I really wish more yoga/pilates instructors were aware of this, they don’t show correct form to their students and then they don’t correct it because they see nothing wrong ….they’re just ‘going through the motions’ without understanding what they’re doing, what muscles should be be engaged, etc.

As an Osteopath, I oftentimes see injuries from incorrect form, shown by personal trainers, yoga teachers, etc.

I’m Pilates instructor and this is exactly how I cue my clients. It’s sad that most of instructors and trainers are showing wrong option

Band around the knee help my hip and lower back a lot. Pretty much it save me from lower back pain.

Band around the knees helps me target inner thighs while engaging my glutes. Sure, it doesn’t help with glute bridge directly, but it saves me time when I’m on a time crunch I want to target multiple muscles at a time.

What an absolute legend this guy is with his explanations although you speak fast sometimes and it’s hard to understand you.
Think globally. Most people half speak English and will follow you if you speak at a better pace and stay consistent remembering to always point things out and use things to show us such as skeletons and diagrams etc.

I can't believe how few views your videos get, much worse pt youtubers are out there making millions of views, im very active in those communities and i have to say after seeing about 20 of your videos, you're the absolute best. I found I feel my glutes best if I straighten my arms behind my head. Never heard anyone suggest that but it works for me haha

Doing a posterior pelvic tilt (flatten your low back against the ground) before lifting up the hips helps too

Good info, like to see u do the movement w/proper form, couple in row. I do pilates, taught to imagine pearl necklace, bring up 1 bead at a time, then lowering 1 bead at a time. Curving the spine while extending hips. Wtd?
