Alter Era Spring/Summer 2017 'Lost in Tokyo' | Backstage
Показать описание
Backstage footage of the Alter Era Spring/Summer 2017 Fashion Show.
The collection entitled "Lost in Tokyo" was presented at Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week in Prague, where their production facilities are based.
For the upcoming summer, the brand created a light collection featuring 3D prints inspired by Tokyo-architecture. It's white undertone is brought in contrast with bright shades of blue, deep purple and orange.
The collection silhouettes show characteristics of a contemporary "Tokyo Girl" with elements of traditional Japanese clothing. Knee-high Jacquard-print socks, plissé-skirts and kimono-style backpacks are strongly present in this collection along with elaborated dresses and jackets. Different types of pleating-techniques and the implemented diagonal cuts with their signature origami-technique bring a certain level of distortion to the architectural prints and enhance their 3-dimensionality.

Designers: Alicia Declerck & Zhanna Belskaya
