The best fruit for countering dough users is venom, because dough v and c can be stopped when the user gets hit and venom's tick dmg from x or the other moves when it drops venom puddles it stops the dough users attacks and because venom lands puddles only on the ground c or f from dough can be stopped from the venom puddles

If you are fighting with dough you can get shark v3 it gives you 65 or 75 percent of damage reduction

To make your self better at pvp don't use shiftlock, there is a high chance you'll miss your moves so practice without shift lock

just use a stun fruit like ice or use venom when you get all the moves you can poison your opponents and mess up their screen. With Ice u can hit a proper combo with ur other weapons (Soul Cane Involved For More Stun)
