Thank you for this. I had a similar experience at Bellagio when I stayed in December and thought maybe it was just me. My room was $400+/night Canadian but was a base room with no strip view. I loved being able to walk around at night and feel safe and loved that elevators were accessible by guests only. The fountains and conservatory were beautiful. All this felt a bit like smoke n’ mirrors (idk if that’s the right term) compared to the actual stay. The vent in the shower was filthy with layers of dust. I did not say anything as the rest of the room was not bad. I ordered a late in-room dinner around 9:30pm - waited an hour and a half before I called and was told my dinner had been delivered, it had not. It was almost 1am before I finally ate. There was also a problem with an aggressive party group in my area where health and safety became a concern due to smoking in-suite and aggressive behaviour in the hallway. Security came up but nothing else and the behaviour continued.The customer service experience left me feeling as though they were doing me a favour by allowing me to stay. I guess I made the mistake of expecting more since after all it was Bellagio and I was paying so much. I do enjoy being centre strip, but not sure now if I will return to that area as Bellagio was disappointing. I thought maybe I was being too demanding and expecting too much. Bellagio has a big reputation to live up to and while the property is beautiful, the stay was not.

damn, basically they put you in a room that wasnt even cleaned, this is ridiculous. They have to do better about this, START TAKING A blacklight, you will see all kind of bodily fluids on the bed and the COUCH.. its reveals how bad these hotels are that are consider A+ HOTELS

Thanks for this review. Very informative. Was going to book here this year because I have never stayed at Bellagio. (Been to Vegas 17 times) I think I would be disappointed in this five star hotel considering I have stayed at many in Vegas. And great ones to boot! Mandarin Oriental, (now Waldorf Astoria) Cosmo, Palazzo, Wynn and Encore. I think I will stay at the Wynn again because they have just remodeled their rooms and service is consistent.

I hope Vegas gets their act together in the service industry because since covid it has lacked. And a LOT. But I will always be a Vegas lover, and have many friends there. Cheers to u guys and thanks again for the highly detailed review. :)

You should have told them the number 2 was smelly and full of corn so they would comp your stay and waive the resort fees. Also, the big shower enhances love making and allows for more positions like reverse cowgirl.
