01:31 Comparisons: Real amp vs AI Machine Modeling

The Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier amp has been heard on countless classic and modern metal albums. With 150 watts of tube-driven power and 3 channels, the Triple Rectifier gives you both raw power and incredible tonal versatility. Go from full-bodied yet pristine cleans to screaming high-gain tones and everywhere between.

In this video we demonstrate the simple steps to create a perfect Tone Model using this iconic amp. Watch how AI Machine Modeling technology faithfully captures every nuance and character. Also, hear the before and after of the real amp vs. the Tone Model version. You won’t believe your ears!

For the first time, using artificial intelligence, Machine Modeling software enables guitar and bass players, without any custom hardware, to model in minutes the sound of any amp, cabinet or combo, plus pedals like distortion, overdrive, fuzz, EQ or boost, all with a new level of accuracy that’s virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.

I can't wait to capture my Roland GP16 before I put it on Ebay.

Wow!!! You have the crunch and a clean tone. Is that 2 captures or 1?

It’s so close you can’t argue one is better than the other. Can’t wait! 🔥

It's obviously not perfect but it's still _very_ good

The "Connect the amp's input to your audio interface" step is pretty vague. That step needs a lot more information. Do we need a reamp box? How do go from Line out to a Z input?

the modeled tone sounds a bit louder and more distorted (to my assessment, anyway), but it's clearly at the ballpark.

Also would like to hear a blues amp with clean to dirty by rolling up just the guitar volume.

The digital version is more muddy as to what i can hear on build in speakers.

Hey ikmultitmmedia, I preordered the standard version of ToneX and am already regretting not ponying up for Max. Is there a way to pay the difference and upgrade? TIA

Is this the guitar you have used when created the models? Then the models will sound like a Gibson with Seymour Duncans going through the rig as a base for all your created models?

same problem - the capture sounds more bloated/muddier, and duller in the treble, especially for the distorted tones - for the clean, the capture is still muddier, but i didn't notice that much of a top end problem. on the other hand, for the distorted tone, even the recording of the real amp sounds bad.

i'd like to be excited about this, but so far i can't.

Axe IO is necessary to use that function?
or Can we use that function with other audio interface? can we use audio interface line out instead of AXE IO amp out?

Was the music in the first part if the video from the real amp or your modelling? I'm not interested a bit in the fuzz in the second part. I want the sweet tone from the beginning! If you can deliver this, you are my friend.
