ive never read anything with the witness protection program! that sounds so interesting! we are not free is on my tbr already but im so excited to read it. i’m the same, I was never taught about the awful treatment of Japanese Americans after Pearl Harbor. Its important to not forget. The Voting Booth has a gorgeous cover! I’ve heard nothing but good things about The Black Kids! I agree its a shame these books are not hitting booktube as hard as they should be. I have been eyeing They Went Left every single time I go into the bookstore! The title just calls to me. Again, another thing I wasn’t ever taught was what happened to Jewish people after the Holocaust. I need to read TJ Klunes stuff, I haven’t gotten around to it yet!! great video!!! spread the love for underrated books!!

Historical fiction isn't really one for me.. but I _really_ need to check out They Went Left
