Shore Fishing UK - Flounder and Bass Fishing in an Estuary | The Fish Locker

Shore fishing for Bass and Flounder is a British winter tradition. Finding some sheltered shore fishing in winter can really keep the love for angling alive during the dark and rainy months. Here I fish a new shore mark in an estuary targeting Flounder and Bass. I explain the rigs and baits I use and show how to unhook a deep hooked flatfish.

Here are links to some of the tackle I used in this video. I hope it helps.

This goes back to the basics of what I have said about fishing. Learn your watercraft and learn from every session. You will catch more fish. 👍🏻🎣

Fishing the old car tomorrow, will start fishing at least once a week again as a mental health medicine, works like a charm, and I love the sound of the waves and the smell of pier.

Been studying so much, came to the conclusion that I'll only buy the rod and line and the rest I'll make handmade, and I'm so excited for it

Brilliant the way you were able to unhook that flounder that had taken the hook awkwardly.

Sir may I compliment you on your conservation ideas, unhooking fish and the big plastic buckets, so that they can recover. I’ve subscribed so that I can learn more from your experience . I only seashore fish when on holiday from midlands and tend to fish Norfolk and Sussex coasts, so thank you for your time& effort in passing on your knowledge.

Thanks for explaining that the flat fish are hybridising, nice to know why some have orange spots but are not plaice! Nice to be able to identify what species that you caught!.Always an interesting video from your good self. Take care and be safe mate. Graham🐟🐟🐟🦀🎣🎣🎣🎣
