Thank you for sharing your story about Patrick.
My son is incarcerated and I'm convinced he has CTE due to concussions from playing HS and college football. Please warn kids and families about the danger of football and concussions.

When I was 13 I had 3 knock out concussions in a 5 month period. I'm 36 now and go through so much brain trouble that I can never exsplain to anyone. Anxiety is so horrid it stops me from doing things, zero focus, get frustrated when I can't get my words out right or when my words come out jamed together. When I wake up it takes me about 3 hours for my brain to come outta the fog it's like such bad pressure and a lost feeling like I'm just here and don't know where.
Haven't seen a neurologist since I was a teen because I felt like a Guinea pig and was in the doctors so many days a week. But recently started to see a GI for a belly issue. And also a Counselor. Finally using the insurance from work and they fired me wrongfully saying I was at 7 points while only at 5 and have proof. So now waiting for Medicade to kick in. And going to speak on this cte thing to my counselor this week. I've always felt n blamed all my everyday problems on my brain. Just don't feel like it's working properly since the brain trauma at 13. And getting harder as I've gotten older as the neurologist said it would.
If anyone wants to reach out to me my name on f.b is Joshua Groves I have a digital creator f.b and try to spread positivity and smiles to everyone.
Namaste
Much love from OhiO
