One of, if not the best mouse reviews I've seen. Amazing production quality and very detailed review! Even the volume warning a few seconds in advance during the click sound test was a little detail I see very few people pay attention to! Thanks for the video. Now that EVGA is out of the GPU space and I need a new mouse, I was considering giving them a shot since I enjoy the G700s / G502 button styles, but didn't want to go logitech again because of the double clicking issues I've developed on 4/5 of their mice. The iffy coating on this one might make me want to stay away, as I absolutely hate the flaking/wearing off.

Ive used one for a yr now.. still looks and feels new as day I bought it.. so I've got a 2nd one that was 40$ on eBay.. best mouse I've used .. left the glorious mouse for this btw😮

Best mouse review I've seen. Thanks for helping me inform my decision to not get this mouse. Still in the market for a replacement for the G502 Proteus that I spilt beer on and knocked out the functionality of the middle mouse button and made a few of the others stick randomly. The X17 will not be that replacement. Thanks for the detailed review. Subbed.

I just had one of these delivered the other day that I found on sale on Newegg for $30. As someone who has exclusively used Corsair M65s for the last 4 years, I was looking for something to keep as a backup if/when something eventually gives out on my daily driver. I like a heavier mouse and the adjustable weights included caught my eye. Also, I really like the whole overall feel of the M65 but if I could change one thing it would be the width of the grip surface. So the more narrow body of the X17 was appealing. I've used it in some aim training for about 2 total hours so far, just to see what it feels like and while it will definitely take a little time to adjust when that day comes, I think I'm gonna dig it just fine.
As someone who plays shooters almost exclusively, I gave a lighter, slimmer mouse a try a while back but even after 2 months of grinding a ROG Strix Gladius III every day to adjust to the weight difference, I still never felt like I had any real precision or control with my aim or my movement.

One thing I would really like to see this year is: more lite weight mice with extra buttons. I really love my Model O- and Razer Viper Mini, but weve seen so many mice that are so similar the last year. The Roccat Kova had a really interesting idea for extra button placement, but the full side body is too large for my small hands. Heaven forbid someone designed a mouse and set the thumb/side buttons slightly farther back on the shell. Ive never owned a mouse that I was able to use the front most thumb button.
