But the small chain, which opened its first location in the Cleveland suburb of Beechwood, Ohio, in 2003, is a regional hotspot, frequently making best of lists on account of its diverse menu and fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Just because it isn’t as well-known as some national steak chains, that doesn’t mean Red the Steakhouse isn’t worth knowing. I am a steak snob and I compare all steaks to Red’s prime ribeye. It is the most underrated steak restaurant in the USA. The Pittsburgh (And Indianapolis) locations were just as good, they just expanded too fast.
