Glasses and contacts are not torture devices. Lasik damages a healthy eye, and the patient has no treatment options if healing goes wrong. The risk is too high.

Idk I got my lasik at TLC and its the best thing I ever did. I'd sacrifice a finger before ever giving up my vision with lasik. 20/15 vision the next day. Healing was great, no issues. No more contact issues to deal with or sliding glasses when you sweat when working on stuff. Swimming is amazing now. Life is amazing with lasik. Just follow the docs orders when you get out of surgery and even for a few weeks after to be extra safe.

Why is he a “Former” FDA leader? Did he get fired or did he retire? Also what was his title? I’m gonna guess that because he’s no longer working for the FDA that he doesn’t really know what has changed in the lasik industry. It would be great to hear from someone currently working for the FDA.
