I wish they had done a helsreach box set like they did a gaunts ghosts one, “heroes of helsreach” £60 box set containing the entire squad each with their own unique models and containing options like the black sword for primus.

I'm realitivly new to warhammer and a theory hit me pretty early on, I'd like to run it by y'all and get your thoughts...I think the Imperium of mankind are the bad guys and chaos the good...ish, guys.
Chaos isn't evil unto itself, not saying that some of them aren't, like the what's the special guys called primearius?
The 20 "children of the Emperor"...super science projects of the Emperors with a splash of the rift place magic thrown in.
The Emperor himself isn't bad per say but most definitely got caught up in the means justified the ends.
Somehow or the other I believe he conned essences of beings from the rift place, probably promising them aid in obtaining physical bodies to hold their essences.
Instead the Emporer betrayed them and created his "children", that's why they are imperfect.
After the Emperor was wounded and in a coma the powers that be took advantage and built the religion around the Emperor and for most of the time have kept him in the weakened state to use him.
Meanwhile like I said the chaos gods aren't just pure evil, but a mixture of good and evil in regard to thierattributes. Kane, I know I misspelled that, is fighting but on the good spectrum can be bravery, honor etc....Nurgle is death and decay...life and renewal. Ya get the ide.
That or there's some good folk in the rift place...because everything has ballance...equal and opposite effects..because you can't just have evil it'll destroy itself!
Idk that's my theory lol having never played the game, not read any books, and listened to very little lore lol.
My speck of a idea for building two armies are a mixed CSM/deamons of korne but more neutral/chaotic then outright evil.
And a chapter of space marines whom technically would be heretics and oppose the leadership of the Imperium but are dedicated to protecting and the betterment of mankind in genera.
Lol, I do hate going with the stream. Now naritivly speaking I think it would be badassery squared. BUT I've come to realise I'd probably never get to play in any game shops and most definitely not in any tournaments.
Also I get the sense that the comunity overall would rise up and burn me at the stake for even suggesting such hearsay. I'm obviously infected by chaos and must be purged😁.

Sorry for the novel lol

I think the "incense" cenobyte is actually casting holy water. He dips that device in his left hand into the water and shakes it around casting the holy waters.

It's kinda sad when the retinue cenobites look cooler than Grimaldus himself.
I'd rather convert the Dark Imperium chaplain with some cool head and a black templar banner on his backpack than this gimp mask and underwhelming skeleton hand holding a broken sword...
