When you haven’t heard this in years
it just hits different

Kids will never understand how we had to be glued to the TV AND radio to catch these songs. Tapes would easily fall apart, CDs would scratch. Fighting with siblings for the remote. How easy it is now to watch YouTube, download apps (Apple Music, Spodify etc) with our headphones/AirPods alone. It was tough getting some peace, alone with our music back then

I've had the bassline stuck in my head for months, finally remembered the name of the song today. What a gem

ODB just happened to walk in the wrong studio and this happened. Masterpiece, I love this. RIP Mr. Bastard

Mannnn if this wasn't one of the BEST eras of music. The videos always showed a story and had a real message not just women twerking. I'm here after seeing Mya's interview regarding how the industry tried to do her and she wasn't going for it. IYKYK. 🥰🧡

It's amazing how Pras.and ODB took an old Bee Gees, Dolly Parton and Kenny Roger's country hit and turned it into a hip hop classic. Music is the U.N. of Heaven

This song gets more relevant every day. "I'm paranoid at the things I say. Wondering what's the penalty from day to day." RIP ODB. Those words are truer today than they ever were.

RIP to the legendary ODB. He contributed and helped evolve Hip hop music. Also the first gravelly voiced rapper to do it so big, paving the way for the likes of DMX and Ja Rule.

I used to watch this video in million of times but Mya and Halle Berry are true beauties.❤️

ODB turns this into something else altogether ... his lines compliment this perfectly, it just adds that alien, grime element which elevates the song to unthinkable heights .

I'll never forget how my first love resembled Mya in this video and how I always wanted to hear her sing this song. Her voice was so angelic. RIP Chontay, you will forever be missed
