SpaceX’s starship rocket is on its way to dominate and destroy blue origin completely. SpaceX is owned by Elon Musk, who is currently the 2nd richest man on earth, while Blue Origins is owned by Bezos who continues to widen the gap as he maintains his number 1 position. Although Blue Origins was founded earlier than SpaceX back in 2000, the two private companies have come a very long way in making some progress. However, it does appear that SpaceX could very well overtake Blue Origins with ease. But, how true is that? Let’s find out.

It won’t be wrong to say that SpaceX and Blue Origins have a different set of plans and ambitions. While Elon is actually aiming big by planning to colonize Mars over the next few decades, the approach taken by Bezos is perhaps going to yield more immediate results. It was only a couple months ago that Bezos, along with 3 other people, flew out to low-orbit space himself and established Blue Origins’ low-orbit flights as a wonderful way for space enthusiasts to spend their money. However, simply traveling to where the space stars outside the earth is not nearly enough for SpaceX. SpaceX aims to actually colonize Mars in the near future. But to be able to do that, they need the right technology, equipment, and progress in the matter. It turns out that Starship is exactly what they’re developing to get around their Martian problems.

Having a look at the southernmost tip of Texas, alongside the Gulf of Mexico, there is a gleaming stainless steel rocket that has been rising from the salt marshes. At a height of around 400ft, the new SpaceX rocket will end up being taller than the Saturn V, which was the rocket that carried Nasa’s Apollo missions to the moon. The new rocket and its 33 engines will also be able to deliver twice the thrust. And it is Elon Musk, who is the founder of SpaceX, who is also meant to play a key role in one day establishing a human colony on Mars.
