Who is Susie Wiles, Trump's new chief of staff?

President-elect Donald Trump has named Susie Wiles to be the chief of staff in his upcoming administration. Wiles, who will be the first woman to ever serve as White House chief of staff, was previously Trump's campaign manager. CBS News campaign reporter Olivia Rinaldi has more.

As a voter I speak for others who as independents voted for Trump not so as to have the previous administration. We do not want the previous administration. This is why there was a divide between those who argued that many things should not be carried over. We do not want or associate ourselves with the J6 effort or do we feel there were innocent people still in jail. Susan Wiles, we have no energy to deal with the staff issues of the previous Trump administration and this includes those not associated but have hidden in the dark corner. It is our desire to tell you we did not vote for Kash Patel as you can see his connection to the old administration. We would go as far as remove our trust energy and support for an administration that has any resemblance to the J6 staff. This is important to understand. It is his choice for staff but it was our choice to pick Donald Trump. We will not assume how it works there but we will assume transparency from the voter. The scrutiny of the actions of the administration by the normal citizens to be able to see the important dynamics will be hindered and hid from us by this man. I hope this message gets sent and whoever reads these things at other places understand that Kash Patel was not in the ticket. We do not need an establishment who is more loyal to the ambition of himself instead of for the nation. This is connected, he is connected to those he will put under him. The example of Pompeo is we do not desire another self-serving politician or personality and for quite some time since four years ago has listed him as one of the troublesome former staff that led to J6. This is a message for all to read to help people who did not vote for Trump a glimpse of the breakdown of why and who we decided to vote for.
