Addressing party workers under the "Mera Booth Sabse Majboot" campaign in Bhopal, PM Modi said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided it would not adopt the path of appeasement and vote bank politics.

Goa has uniform civil code since last 500 years due to Portuguese law and Muslims are happily living in Goa.I was married in Goa with Hindu viadic ceremony but prior to that I had to go to register my marriage in Goa court.Not all Muslim countries have Sharia laws

India doesn't have Constitution more than one. Similarly Religious Specific Conditions can't also be more than one to meet their needs. Since Constitution is one, UCC can't demand special attention from any Logical points of Views. Less we talk on such Issues, better it is. Constitution is totally exempted from any debate, prejudicing its Spirits. UCC is for Benefits and not for Penalties.

Rajdeep, your journalism focused on whether it could influence Muslim voters. Muslims have been ultlizing majority taxpayers' money on Madrassa Schools, and majority Muslims benefited on welfare schemes due to unlimited marriage. Majority taxpayers' voters' aspirations and development were delayed for no funds. Due to Muslims, laws benefited from taxpayers. Other religious faith could not benefit. UCC will be equal. For Muslims, their associations should come out their own funds to support their religious faith, and the same to other faiths need to be supported by their own religious associations

Enough time for public debate and discussion has been given for the past nine years ( gastation period) so that the general public/common people churn the pros and cons and will welcome the change despite all the strong opposition, misleading statements, hollow logic given by self interested community leaders/political leaders/baised TV anchors made to safeguard their personal interest.
Giving example of one or two stray incidents, the anchor is doing a great injustice to a noble cause which is a ray of hope for a section of society.
