Teaching Gujurat riots must start at the BEGINING. That is to say the riots started with the Hindus being murdered by Islamic radicals.

Dont start at the point where muslims were slaughtered with no ryme or reason.

The mere sight of hindu yatras was offensive to muslims who wanted to take punitive action against these yatra-goers. The outcome of the riot was muslim radicals stopped this behaviour because Gujuratis decided showing the other cheek did nothing for them.
