The plaintiff brings her aunt to court. She purchased a car from the defendant, but she says her aunt tried getting the radio back and even took the lug nuts out of the tire. She’s suing for repairs and the cost of the car. The defendant argues they agreed on an as-is sale, so a deal is a deal.

This could’ve been avoided if the aunt didn’t try to sell a car she was still paying on!

Some families need a court to sort out the easiest stuff. Sad.

I'm irrationally pissed off by this. I don't understand why people are willing to destroy the relationships with their families for the stupidest reasons. Money, a 25 year old junk car thats barely worth a thousand dollars, gossip, selfishness, greed, pride, etc. As a black man, I see this a lot in our communities and it's heartbreaking.

Never ever do business with family, it almost always end badly, in this case I think the judge made the right call by giving the plaintiff back some of her money .

I find it funny because according to the plaintiff, she was only supposed to pay $1000 for the car. According to the defendant, she was supposed to pay $2200 for the car. How do you have that big of a difference in asking price? And the plaintiff never should’ve even considered it considering that the defendant still owed money on the car. Plaintiff should’ve waited and let defendant pay off the car and then bought the car from her. In my opinion, the judge should have given her the entire 1523.75 and subtracted three weeks worth of a rental. In my opinion, the car being in the shop is her own fault. She knew it had problems. She shouldn’t have fixed something that she didn’t have title to.

The aunt did a crackhead move. Judge Mathis would have spotted that IMMEDIATELY 😂😂

1:40 This is telling me the Aunt has extremely bad credit if she still owes the bank 2, 500.00 for a 1998 Honda Accord. Real talk, Honda's are good cars.

My husband was going to sell his car to his sister I said absolutely NO. Give it to her because when it's a repair I don't want to hear it. So he gave it to her as Christmas present and she cried. It's been 6 months and she still driving.
