Great vidéo as always.
+1 for the request of a Cryptomatte support inside the VFB. It would be such a game changer especially when dealing with animations. That way we could have a better idea of what the render would look like without having to wait for the post-production phase inside a 3rd party program to make some crucial adjustments. That way, also, the ability to stack multiple layers inside the ToneMapping panel would have a real use.

Great tutorial. thanks for sharing. unfortunately the cryptomatte now can only be applied in Photoshop. hope they can make it directly adjustable in VFB like VRay in future. .

last time i tried to boost speculars of the scene, had to use a standard omni light as it is the only light types that allows to toggle of the diffuse light and cast specular only.

has that changed or is there a better alternative? it si just simple, a light that dont cast illumination but reflection
