I love how meta this intro is. In theory, the play is inside a movie! Its just brilliant!

This rendition sounded strange at first, having only really ever seen the movie. But it has totally grown on me, the sort of 50's vibes are awesome.

The first time I saw the Rocky Horror Show on stage (decades after seeing the movie - and I will not embarrass myself by saying how many times I have seen the film since the original release) the "usherette" entered the auditorium from the doors at the rear of the theatre and, followed by a spotlight, she sang "Science Fiction Double Feature" while randomly tossing bags of candy into the audience.

This is the very best version IMO. so glad that this is on YouTube. Science Fiction Double Feature is my favourite song from Rocky Horror. I know that its been changed over the years. But this upbeat version and her slightly exagerated accent is spot on.

I'm so pleased I seen this girl sing this live, this is by far the best version I have heard, I have been listening to others and also cover versions and nothing comes close to this, the original old soundtrack is nowhere near as good as this.
