There are a lot of issues I see with this animatic (mostly with staging/losing eye trace lol), and given this was just a general first pass with only major issues addressed, I'm not entirely happy with it, but I think I want to take what I learned from this sequence and apply it to a future animatic.

This is in no way what I think is going to actually happen in Apology Tour; far from it actually. But I like seeing my favs cry and I like making myself sad and henceforth this was made.

Hi everyone! I'm here after Apology Tour dropping. I was so surprised this was pretty close to what ended up happening, I don't work for Spindlehorse nor am I affiliated with Helluva Boss. This storyboard came together from some theories I had, mainly studying the design we saw in the teaser, I assumed it was a house party (but I had no idea it would be on Earth). It also just felt narratively right for Stolas to be singing and Blitz be watching in the crowd, and lamenting how much he screwed up. I'm really glad so many people are enjoying this video! The difference between Stolas and all of Blitz’s past encounters is that the bird actually gave a damn HARD about Blitz and, unlike the rest, will never stop loving him in his heart. DESPITE EVERYTHING, which is already so hard. Him being Stolas’s crush since forever and from such a young age. Stolas is never fully getting over that.
