I don't know if Jason Mraz will read this comment but I just want to say that his music is such a gift for me. He's my favorite singer, I suffer from depression and every time I feel bad or feel that everything's horrible, I just listen to his music and I feel with hope that this pain is not going to be forever.

I wouldn't mind Jason just popping up in random places around my house. I'd invite him to stay over for dinner once he's done singing a couple of songs.

I heard this song in a store recently and found out what it was. I know the video makes it out to be a boy meeting a girl, or partner. But to me, having never seen the video, the song is remarkably prescient as I took it to be about a progression away from the times we are currently living in towards better times. “Beautiful thing” could refer to any hope or aspiration, so the song really makes me hopeful at this time. I really love it.

On a side note, I don’t know much of his music but he is IMMENSELY talented, almost too much so for the mainstream. There’s a cover he did of Björk’s Unravel that I heard over ten years ago that is STUNNING but you can’t find it anywhere. There are some live versions that he did at concerts and such posted on YouTube (which are still magical), but there’s a particular, maybe studio version, he did that used to be on YouTube also but is no longer there, but it is absolutely perfect and I wish I could find it after all these years to download. No cover of that song compares to his rendition of it.

This is crazy like 5 years ago I found this song on the tv..I danced to this song but couldn't remember the name of it. I remember the video but not the name..so I search for it for years..I knew it was a Jason Mraz's song..I remeber I even search it 2 years ago but couldn't find the video..finally yeah found it aftera long time..this is such a beautiful song..so positive.
