Lansing City Council votes to rescind sanctuary city status

The Lansing City Council has voted to rescind the sanctuary city resolution nine days after it was originally passed. The 5-2 vote came in after more than three hours of listening to public comment. Council members are deciding whether or not to reaffirm the Capital City as a welcoming city.
