I sketched a swimsuit design based on your feedback. Is this what you were thinking?

Lots of emotions on the last post! Does designing one swimsuit to make everyone happy…make anyone happy?

It was interesting to see how a bunch of people hated on the poll results, saying how much they disagree, so I reposted the poll for everyone to get a second chance at voting. It had been 2 years anyway. But as you probably saw in my IG stories, nothing really changed.

Anyway, I thought it’d be interesting for you to see me sketch a design based on the poll results exactly. The community votes ended up giving me an underwire bra with a high waisted bikini brief.

What do you think? Would you wear this? Tell me in the comments your honest opinion!

I think the problem is that every part was polled separately, so things that don't go well together ended up mixed

Make the spaghetti into fettuccine(wider) (because skinny straps aren’t big bitty friendly!) and add a channel for tie strings for the sides for OPTIONAL coverage! ie if you want a higher cut pull those strings TIGHT and tie to your liking!

Honestly you’re the designer. I love a lot of your fashion and fitness products and think they’re all unique and amazing. But I think your best work comes when you roam free and create pieces that are all YOU. Like don’t worry about polling for preferences. Express yourself to the fullest because it’s in those moments that you make stuff we will all love.

I think the general vibe is people want to be covered to have some modesty and comfort (I.e. not feeling like you’re going to slip out and have to think about what you’re wearing every second), but still want to be modern and cute.

I personally love sleeves but there must be something else that people find appealing to up the design element. Besides, with a poll from everyone, the most basic pattern will appear because I think there’s a huge diversity to what people like for a certain accent or flair to a garment.

one of the swimsuit shapes i WISH were more popular are skirts! i like my thighs to be more covered up when i'm at the beach, and little swimming dresses/two pieces would be so cute

A one piece is perfect for me and I think many women would agree. The win was only by 1%, and instagram polls are really messed up the result really depends mainly not on the preference

You should do a digital mix-and-match piece design and let people vote on the results, that way they can see the final product of their votes and adjust accordingly

I think a swimsuit version of your athletic skort would be cute, it will cover modestly while also being cute. I also think color plays a big role. While black is a classic color, it is not for everyone. I personally try to wear as little black as possible because I adore colors. I would play with solid colors, for example, bold colors like lemon yellow or Barbie pink

I appreciate the full coverage, it's giving almost vintage vibes! I know you can design it to look gorg with different colours, boning, accents, etc to give it the right shaping illusions and pop. Thanks Cassie for doing the lord's work out there! :)

honestly, no. the whole bathing suit isn't very flattering tbh. the bottoms are too high and there's something about the top that isn't right to me
