Actors, dancers and singers: the two most gifted triple threats cinema has ever produced. Fate decreed that they could work in the same places at the same time, when they were young and ambitious enough to max out their talents.

So much of showbiz success is about timing. The Astaire-Rogers films were a miracle of timing.

Ginger is amazing! i hold nothing against her for being a Christian Scientist, but I still think she would have lived longer with medical intervention. Though perhaps she knew her time was up.
