This music, paired with this video, makes me feel some specific sort of way.
It reminds me of late summer afternoons and early evenings, sitting in my grandmother’s cottage waiting for dinner. Reading Archie comics from 1980. Riding around in our speedboat at sunset.
Ice cream out on the dock. Evening swims. Painting the pine trees with my cousins. Watching old movies on their box tv, playing old board games, listening to old records. Spending time with my family. The bright, almost blindingly orange and gold sunset pouring in past the blinds, spilling onto my face as I read alongside the talking adults.
It reminds me of my early childhood. Being an innocent kid, wide-eyed and full of wonder.
I miss those days.
