One of the best conductors in the Pacific Northwest.

This is stunning! Just listened the whole way through and enjoyed so much of it, particularly Cassandra's first entrance and then her fit and prophecy at the end of the first scene, and then Clytemnestra's raging after Agammemnon - It feels it would fit right in beside Oedipus Rex!

The full story of Cassandra, so much broader than what you get in Berlioz and Taneyev. A dramatic, large-scale composition of great skill and craftsmanship. Expertly performed and professionally captured to video. Subtitled in both Latin and English. WIll watch the video again but hope that in the meantime some enterprising impressario will pick it up and introduce to a wider audience.

This is more than a day old and there are no comments. I wondered why, so I listened to a bit of it.
