Thank you !
A third method is to multiply (1+cosx) so that it becomes [(1+cosx)(1-cosx) / x^2 (1+cosx)] = [ 1-cos^2x / x^2 (1+cosx) ] = sin^2 x/x^2 . 1/1+cosx = 1/cosx {because six/x=1} = 1/cos0 = 1/2
