About the DLC part, the announced like 3 months ago that they are already working on the first piece of DLC at a live show

I'm kinda sad this won't have a season pass. Odds are this will probably have quite a bit of DLC, I would guess anyway for multiplayer, so buying it ahead of time at a reduced price would be nice.

What dictionary are you going by... because I've seen articles refer to a season pass and other articles refer to online pass when they're talking about the same thing. And even games that are now releasing what they call season passes, used to have the same thing but call them online passes.
But I'm guessing you mean...
online pass - gives access to multiplayer content
season pass - gives access to DLC for free.
So if it gives both it would be an online season pass, or a season online pass?

Just look up some videos. She is playable but you have to reach level 60 (the highest level) in order to have access to her, which is probably why you haven't seen any videos with her in it. If you watch The Final Hours of Tomb Raider (the latest episode) she is there. They did this so that the multiplayer doesn't detract from her strong character and if someone in a match is playing as Lara, you know they're seriously good.

they didn't lie. they meant first on consols

pc get them them first most of the time. there might of been a few times where that was not the case. even then most games on the pc have a nice chunk of player made content but that is still technically "DLC".

Hearthfire(skyrim) for example

Notice I said I could be devoting 30 hours, as in it could take anywhere up to 30 hours. And the last game I got that was that long was AC3 which only came out a few months ago, I suppose if you play games that focus on multiplayer like halo, CoD or other shooters more of them have short campaigns but I wouldn't say most take 8 hours. But that's beside the point, I don't want to spend any time or any money on a game I don't like, if more released demos I could better judge if I will enjoy them.

It's not true about the mp, you CAN choose lara in the survivor team according to videos they've shown

Why no demo? That helps people judge whether buying it is worth it or not.
Also, if the demo is awesome, then it really helps build the hype up for the game. .

Games rarely put demos out anymore. Especially before the game is released. Unless your DmC

I was hoping for a demo but wasn't holding my breath, an unfortunately low number of games release demos, I would get alot more games if I knew I was spending my money on something I would like and I could get a better sense of that if I got to play it for a few minutes first.

this is kinda of weird you would think with some of the multiplayer backlash they would give us some reassurance to know its good

I really don't understand this move. They already released a playable demo..ok, you could only play it at Comic Con (where I personally played it) and E3, but the public got to play it. I really don't see that as being a spoiler.

Im perfectly fine with this. The lack of a season pass online system is good too. Though I like season passes in the form of how borderlands 2 or darksiders 2 does it. Id be fine subscribing to dlc if I like the game enough.

I doubt many will complain about an absence of a season pass.

If anything they should have a multiplayer demo to balance weapons and stuff since its a
new multiplayer game

Well the main reason im guessing there is no season is because the multiplayer is not established. Meaning a lot of people who buy the game used would probably pass on it, stopping a steady flow of new players. If This game does get a steady flow of players i do think TR2 will be different and have one.

However giving no Beta or Demo was a bad move on there part, a Demo can really sell a game

disappointed about no demo =( i always like to get a small taste of a game before buying it. kinda gets me hyped to buy it if i like the demo so i can continue playing. i still might buy it but since no demo it wont be a day 1 purchase. will have to see some reviews before making a decision. hopefully they will release a demo later down the road after the game is released.

nope....they are on pc too, just search "season pass" on steam...its a publisher/dev thing

true a demo can really sell a game but it can also have a negative effect

costs them money, and that was advert which will make them money, a demo could lose players hence money
